WHAT’S HAPPENING
- Double edge razors, cut throat razors, three blades, four blades, shaving brushes … male personal care can be a complicated maze. As more gents embrace their full grooming potential, online information centers and male beauty blogs abound.
- The Grooming Guys use a tongue-in-cheek tone to promote grooming as a full on lifestyle. First time users are encouraged to check out the Grooming Lounge Bill of Rights to learn about every man’s right to look “extremely handsome.”
- GroomingHealth.com features the A to Z’s of men’s personal care: from skin, sex and shaving to anti-aging and staying fit.
- MenEssentials.com shares thoughts and tips divided both by category (sun, health, skin, etc.) and by age (20somethings to 60+).
WHAT THIS MEANS TO BUSINESS
- Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the handsomest gent of all? Brave New Men are jumping on the beauty bandwagon, embracing the tools, guides and resources to help them reach their full personal potential.
- They may be after the same result, but men and women have different ways of going after the same thing. Women hang around, beehive and rant, while men go straight in, gather some honey quickly and go about their busy way.
