ChinaFocus is Iconoculture’s annual consumer immersion event that provides in-depth exposure to the key factors driving the evolution of the China market. The 2011 program will take place the week of November 6th in Shanghai.
Over the course of the 4-day in-country program, Iconoculture takes participants deep inside consumer lifestyles to explore the personal values & cultural touchstones that guide purchases & pursuits. Daily interactive workshops are complemented by on-site explorations that demonstrate how different consumer segments interact with places in their lives. Lunchtime keynotes provide insight into the political and economic context while local executives join our tables at the nightly dinners to provide comment on marketplace execution.
This year, we’ll be exploring three broad themes:
a) Home Personalization
b) Childhood Experiences
c) Health & Wellness Pursuits
Each day is curated to cover a specific theme. The fourth day is structured to facilitate individual participants to look investigate and report back on a personal theme.
Interpreted by Iconoculture’s consumer strategists and complemented by our in-country cultural observers and native knowledge leaders, participants will get closer to the Chinese consumer than ever before. Upon return, Iconoculture collaborates with participants to replay the experience in an onsite workshop with their company colleagues to socialize learnings & implications.
